a spot in the Bay Area that nails authentic Shanghainese cuisine! If you've been hunting for the real 'Benbang' flavor, this is it. Start with the Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings). The skin is impressively thin yet durable, holding a spoonful of rich, savory broth that bursts with flavor. I really like every food ordered at this place! Authentic Shanghai style cuisine, not too oily, just the right flavor, large portions.

Got chicken fried rice, it was quite good. Nothing groundbreaking but good food. The space is pretty classic, also nothing particular. There was one very friendly shorter gentleman server, that was very welcoming. Other servers were okay. All around decent place.

Solid Chinese fare hidden away in a little strip mall outside of downtown Palo Alto. The restaurant interior is basic, but the food is worth the trip. Their soup dumplings were great. Service was straightforward - polite but nothing stellar.
