Kiderr

About Kiderr

Kiderr is a marketplace that helps parents find and book vendors for kids' parties β€” bounce houses, entertainers, venues, caterers and more β€” and helps local party businesses reach the families looking for them.

Who operates Kiderr

Kiderr is an independently operated online marketplace for children's party services. We are a directory and booking platform: parents use Kiderr to discover, compare and contact local vendors, and vendors use Kiderr to manage a listing and receive inquiries. Kiderr connects the two sides β€” the party services themselves are provided by the independent businesses listed on the platform, not by Kiderr.

How vendors are added

Listings reach Kiderr in two ways. Some are created by the vendors themselves, who sign up, build a profile and manage it directly. Others start as directory entries we compile from publicly available business information, so that parents have a useful, browsable directory of local providers from day one. Any business can claim its listing to take control of it β€” updating details, adding photos and pricing, and responding to inquiries.

What "verified" means

A verification badge on a listing means the business has claimed its profile and confirmed ownership of the listing with us β€” for example, by verifying control of the business's contact details. Verification confirms that a real person from the business manages the listing and stands behind the information on it. It is a signal of ownership and accountability.

Important β€” background checks. Verification is not a background check. Kiderr does not conduct criminal background checks, licensing checks or insurance verification on the businesses listed, and a verification badge should not be read as one. Because these vendors work around children, we strongly encourage every family to confirm a provider's credentials directly before booking β€” ask about insurance, licensing, background checks on staff, and references, and trust your own judgment.

How reviews work

Reviews and ratings shown on a listing reflect feedback about that business. They are meant to help you compare providers alongside photos, pricing and the vendor's own description. Reviews are one input into your decision β€” we always recommend reading them in context, contacting the vendor directly, and asking for recent references for parties similar to yours.

How quote requests work

When you find a vendor you like, you send an inquiry through Kiderr describing your party β€” date, location, ages and what you're looking for. That request goes to the vendor, who responds to you directly to confirm availability, share pricing and work out the details. Inquiries are free and there's no obligation to book. You can contact several vendors to compare quotes before deciding.

How Kiderr makes money

Kiderr is free for parents β€” searching, comparing and sending inquiries never costs anything. Vendors can list on Kiderr for free, and we offer optional paid tools and memberships for businesses that want more β€” such as priority placement and faster access to new leads. We may also earn from optional payment tools we provide to vendors. We do not sell your personal information, and vendors cannot pay to fake reviews or ratings.

Our commitment to families

Children's parties are special, and trust matters more here than almost anywhere. We work to keep listings accurate and useful, to show real photos, and to be transparent about what we do and don't do. If you ever see a listing that looks wrong, out of date, or inappropriate, please tell us β€” we take that seriously.
