Nice and quiet place to see wildlife. There are a lot of birds in the ponds. You can also learn about the ponds, the bridge and the aqueduc that was used to convey water to the Bay up until 2014. Probably not worth a long drive but nice to visit if you are around.

A vista point and short trail in the greater Ravenswood Preserve, starting at a parking lot just before the ramp onto Dumbarton Bridge. The trail is about a mile (no outlet, have to walk back) with salt ponds on one side and the bay on the other. Hardly see anyone people here - but lots of birds, bat rays swimming in the salt ponds, snails on the shrubs, the occasional hare. Therr are two over-the-water viewing platforms, one with a telescope. Afternoon winds are strong. Great place for a short

It gives you a great view to the Eastern shore of the bay. There are parking spaces on both sides of the bridge and it

Nice view of the bay. Very flat but completely unshaded. There is a mobile restroom which can save some emergencies.π A little too short. Saw lots of swallows when I was there. Also saw an osprey. The view of Dumbarton Bridge was great, too. Lots of parking. Very light traffic.
