Plan ahead. Beautiful view at the top. Would definitely come here again.

This location is an great choice for watching sunsets. The day hike offers mostly open areas with minimal shade, so be prepared. Parking is free, but you must arrive early; we secured the last spot by 9 AM. It is entirely feasible to run or hike over 10 miles here without having to backtrack.

Wonderful hike on a spectacular cloudless day! We could see all the way to SF and across to the East Bay.

Beautiful views of the entire valley and all the way to the ocean at the top. Would 100% recommend the hike, it is worth it. Sunset was super nice as well.
