About a week and a half ago, my boyfriend and I adopted a 3 year old cat (Leo). We were told regarding his medical history that he may have ear mites, but nothing else. Just yesterday we took him for his initial physical and unfortunately found out he has feline leukemia virus (FELV). With this type of virus in cats, they are not allowed to be in contact with any other cats who test negative as it could spread to them. When we adopted our cat Leo, he wasn't in his own cage like some of the other

I stumbled across the centre as I was walking past and saw cats in the window! 😻 Even though I was visiting from London and had no intention of adopting an animal (I have two adopted cats at home!), the staff chatted with me and let me meet all the animals. What a wonderful service and a great place for the animals. The volunteers told me that most cats get adopted within a few days. I just wish I could have taken a few of the cats home in my suitcase! Don't be afraid to go in and show the kitt

What a wonderful sanctuary this is! All adoptions are free for the month of September - a testament to this space's goodness. Adopting my kitten was seamless and straightforward. I was emailed her medical records and the staff were competent and kind. Best Friends also provided me with Blue Buffalo kitten food (wet and dry), treats, one toy, and kitty litter. They also sell affordable carriers as well as litter boxes and other animal merch. Welcome home, Nala!

This is where we adopted Luna our dog she is a Labrador mixed with a German shepherd an amazing experience. Everyone there is so nice and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. I was able to take my kids with me and we were able to bring home. Luna. We're so excited and we're happy to be our best friend to our dog.

I adopted my kitten, Freya almost 3 months old, about 10 days ago and it's truly one of the best decisions I've ever made. She was very shy at first, but she adjusted so fast. Every day she becomes more playful, affectionate, and cuddly. She also gets along amazingly well with my other cat. they've become instant friends! I'm so grateful to the shelter for taking such good care of her before she came home with me. Thank you for helping Freya find her forever home and for making the adoption pro
