Ideal time to visit is when it's warm spring or summer day when all the Chinese gentlemen bring their birds to get some fresh air. Each bird has their own bamboo cage which are hung on poles or lines strung about the small garden. The birders are lovely and are willing to answer questions- this sometimes takes a few guys to compay notes on the question. Such a great slice of China in NYC.
