I had to see this place for myself. Crazy how it's just in the trees between the buildings. My favorite part of it was all the hilarious sounds made by the chicks. So funny! Beautiful birds in a weird location.

Lots of egrets here but high up in the trees so taking pictures isn't quite easy. Hard to get good shots. Parking is not a problem during the weekend.

Lot of fun to see the active birds, great outing to take the kiddos. Can start or end at the cafe. Can walk the "thicket" path to make it more fun and less concrete. Lot of shade along the way.

Amazing!! Nature adapting to urban environments has never been so accessible! Kudos to the good, considerate people who thought of protect these birds. Literally smack dab in the middle of offices & parking lots, & you look up, & there are just so very many!! They're up mind-bogglingly high in the sycamores, giant nests rocking in the wind like unlikely hammocks. Must visit, & must protect!

Lots of Great egrets, snowy egrets, and night herons. The section is closed for vehicles, but open to bikers and pedestrians from May to September.
