Just picked up my pieces from The Pottery in Los Osos on 2nd and I LOVE them. I'm Obsessed. I've never done ceramics or pottery before outside of highschool and even then I was too chicken to hog one of the wheels. My husband and I did a date night class after work and were joined by a group of old friends. It was so much fun getting to know each other. They had asked ahead of time and brought their own wine to drink while they made their pottery. And there's even a precious studio pup.

I took the Wheel 1 course lead by Tawnee and really enjoyed it. Everyone at the studio, instructors, regular members, and students alike, were all very nice, friendly, and supportive. They offer people who are enrolled in classes the opportunity of additional open studio time to practice, and that was invaluable to getting the basics down. I am so grateful Alecia and Kevin opened up this community pottery studio in Baywood. Alecia (owner) is a phenomenal teacher who instantly makes you feel so welcome and comfortable in the studio. Her team of instructors are also so talented, knowledgeable, patient and friendly. The variety of classes they offer is endless and full of creativity. In such a short time, this has become such a beloved fixture of Los Osos.

Did a "Take a Spin" one time class with a few coworkers and we all had a great time! Tawny was a very patient instructor and excellent teacher. She prepped the first round for us to get us started and then let us try the next few on our own. Tawny really adjusted to everyone's comfort level - she was willing to let us try things on our own or ready to jump in to help if requested. We each got to create 3 small bowls/dishes & we're excited to see how they turn out! Looking into other options so w

I took my first class recently and had a wonderful experience. The instructor Elena was kind, patient, encouraging, and helpful in my first foray into pottery. The culture in the studio among my classmates and other working in the space was so encouraging and welcoming. By the end of my series of classes I felt comfortable playing and creating with the clay and I cannot wait to continue to explore, learn and create. I will definitely be back to keep learning. I have 100% caught the pottery bug :
