Children's Museum of Sonoma County

Our favorite family friendly space in Sonoma County- we drive an hour just to visit here! The staff are kind and helpful, the place is clean and creative!

Toddler heaven! My 22 month old loved every corner, nook and cranny whether inside or outside! Perfect place to bring your toddler/s to get their energy out. They thought of everything a toddler could want to see, touch, and play! Went here on Friday and they had Musical Story-Telling in the morning. There's also a corner safe for 2.5yr olds and under. Super cute! Highly recommend!

What a fun spot! We drive over 1.5 hours to come here about twice a year. This place has such a great atmosphere inside and outside. I love the new additions of the wooden nature playground in the front. This museum is wonderful for 1-7 years of age. I rated it lower because every time I've been here the bathrooms are horrible. The Children's Museum in Santa Rosa is such a fun place for kids to explore, learn, and burn off energy. The outdoor area is amazing - plenty of space to run around and lots of creative play options. Inside, there are tons of interactive exhibits, though a few of the fun things were broken during our visit. It could also be a little cleaner, especially in the high-touch play areas. Still, the staff is friendly, and overall it's a great spot for a family outing.
