Love this museum. Some really nice permanent exhibits. Frequently interesting temporary exhibitions as well. A nice place to visit if you're in LA with kids. Loads of interactive things for kids and next door to the California Science Center. Rose garden nearby is also lovely.

This was my first visit at this museum and there were countless of exhibits to explore. As well as arts and crafts for my daughter and son. I would highly recommend it because of the high level of creativity and attention to the kids, there is a wide variety of options for kids to explore! I didn't struggle to find parking and the staff were all extremely helpful and made the experience one to remember. I stayed until 1:30 p.m. while feeling there was still plenty of time to finish the museum. N

Great place to visit with kids! The Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County has rich exhibits that are both fun and educational. The dinosaur 3D show is definitely worth watching and very engaging for children. Visitor tips: California residents get free admission after 3:00 PM, which is a great deal. For parking, it's best to park at the California Science Center parking area and walk over. Highly recommended for families planning a half-day visit.

We were in LA visiting Universal Studios and on our last day we had nothing planned. We decided to check out this museum and it was awesome! We went on a Friday. Honestly I love museums and I could have spent the whole day there reading every single bit of information from every single piece on display but we had to catch our plane. They had a cat exhibit that was very informative. The dinosaur hall was also fascinating and informative. It was jaw-dropping to see just how big these animals were

We love this place! My son knows every exhibition like the back of his hand-he loves coming here to spend time learning stuff about his favorite dinos. It's said to be the largest exhibition of dinos, but I'm not sure that's right. It's not that big. Definitely worth the time, though-especially for kids who are obsessed with dinosaurs. The exhibits keep him engaged for hours, and it's such a fun way to spark curiosity about prehistoric life. Highly recommend for families!
