Chanticleer Ave County Park

The park was a welcome surprise. It is the best park in the county by a large margin. It is incredibly well designed with thought given to creativity, interaction and disabled access. The equipment includes many different climbing and play structures, bridges, slides, swings, spinners, tractors, musical instruments (chimes, xylophone and drum) and tiny houses. We checked this park out while visiting family. The kids all had tons of fun!! Not sure when they made the playground. Would have loved to have something like this to play on as a kid. At least now it's there for my own children to enjoy. There was a pretty decent variety of things for the kids to do. Loved the general vibe of the place, too. Nice location. What an excellent park for toddlers! Leo's Haven is also a part of this park, in case there is confusion as to which is which. There are family restrooms w/ large diaper tables. They also have a dog park. Also, they have a bike park. Leo's Haven has everything you could want in a playground, including many interactive, tactile spots for curious toddlers. A fence surrounds the entire park for added security.

A nice park with it's own parking lot, bathrooms, a playground, dog park and a bicycle pump track. The park also has some oddities like a house that looks abandoned that the park surrounds and an old (I'm gonna guess) fruit drying shed that's slowly disintegrating. I know we should conserve water, but there's a lot of just parched dirt / low scrub that makes this a little less appealing.
