I got take out this time. I've been there before. Atmosphere is fine. But don't get take out. Got the salmon platter listed as their monthly specials. $26 for 3 small pieces of salmon, a cup of coconut rice, and some raw veggies. No potato dumplings. They gave us chutney but what for if we don't have the dumplings.

I went with my friend, and we loved the buffet! With a wide variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, fresh naan on the table, and very respectful staff, there are many choices to suit every taste. We will come back here!

Mantra India is one of the best Indian restaurants in Mountain View! The food is consistently flavorful, with rich curries, tender tandoori, and perfectly spiced biryanis. The lunch buffet offers a wide variety of vegetarian and meat dishes, making it a great way to sample different flavors. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a modern yet cozy feel. Service is attentive and friendly, even during busy hours. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portions, and it's a great spot for bo

I had that early evening hunger pangs, but since we had a late dinner planned, I needed a quick fix. I saw lamb chops on the Mantra menu-which is totally my weakness-so I just walked right in. The chops were just okay, but the tikkis were good, and the old-fashioned was surprisingly great. I ended up eating way more than I should have, so dinner had to be light, but it was worth it! Nice service and a good vibe, too.

The only complaint I have is the seating -- the booth is not exactly comfortable. But the quality/variety of food ... I have been to several Indian buffet places, this is one of the few that I would like to visit often. Went again, and was pleasantly surprised by new dishes. The staff proudly stated they change buffet menu every day, bravo! Highlight(July 31 visit): shrimp curry, lamb curry, aromatic goat biryani
