My opinion the best place in the world to get sweet potato pies.😋😊👍🏾

The Sweet Potato pie is not the same quality taste from years ago the delicious mouth watering flavor is no longer there very disappointing Peach cobbler crust soggy not the same quality and taste as before.

Use to get sweet potato pies from here often in the early 2000s and still get some when family comes from outta town and brings some. The flavor is not the same. It's not as sweet and good as it used to be. It tastes burnt and bland. I'm really disappointed

This little hole in the wall location is hard to describe. As in one hand, they offer a selection of desserts that are not located everywhere like sweet potato pie and fresh baked pumpkin, and on the other, some of the slices of cake almost tastes like the box kind - except for the frosting, the frosting does seem home made, also my issue is the wrapping of slices, since I don't think they make it every day, they wrap it in clear wrap to preserve it, but it gives it a certain wetness when you op

I stopped into 27th Street Bakery while passing through town to my climbing gym. I have a habit of stopping anytime I see "Bakery" painted on a building.....and I'm sure glad I did. The baker gifted me a sweet potato pie that was phenomenal. Not overly sweet and the crust was flaky and light. Perfect fuel for climbing. 🫶🏻
