A Reptile Lover's Dream Come True I've been wanting to visit East Bay Vivarium for years. Back when I used to keep iguanas, this place was always on my list-but life got in the way and I never made it out. This past Sunday, after my son's judo tournament in Albany, I finally had the perfect excuse. I looked up things to do nearby and there it was. We were already excited-and even more excited once we realized how close we were. Walking in felt like stepping straight into a reptile wonderland.

We've purchased 3 tarantulas over the past 10 years. Typically Michael helps us & he has a wealth of knowledge. We've been to the store many times in between purchases, and each time staff have been friendly, well-informed, and they take time to answer questions & educate. Animals are relaxed, with good weight, and healthy appearance. Habitats are always clean with appropriate items in habitats. Truly a well-run business and educational center. Highly recommend.

This place was a great collection of reptiles. It was interesting to watch a python eat a rabbit. The store could use some updating, but otherwise it was a cool experience.
