Reptile & Amphibian House

They no longer have the white alligators. Enjoyable to walk through.

Saw the rare albino crocodile for the first time many years ago that mostly just stayed still motionless. Felt kinda sorry for the poor thing. Hope its being well looked after.

Great selection of reptiles and amphibians although we weren't expecting the kids to see two black mambas 'snuggling' 🤣🐍🦎

Lots of snakes and lizards to see here. This was my favorite section of the zoo.

The huge diverse collection of the reptile and amphibian house of Houston zoo gives you a unique opportunity to get a up close look on one of the largest section of animal kingdom. From frogs to snakes, from tortoise to alligator ,every types of reptile is here. You can get to see the komodo dragon, iguanas etc. If you are afraid of snakes, this is place is not for you I would say. But you are willing to overcome the fear, this is your goto place.
