There's no way to contact The National Audubon Society via their website, so perhaps this will get their attention. Why would a charity committed to conservation send out PLASTIC membership cards (of no value) with every fundraising letter? It seems so antithetical to the organization.

Be aware, that the Audubon Society is not what it pretends to be. They tried unsuccessfully to cut an old-growth forest in Zoar Valley (WNY) but the good people of that area organized and protested. DO NOT contribute to this organization until they change their wicked ways!
