There's no way to contact The National Audubon Society via their website, so perhaps this will get their attention. Why would a charity committed to conservation send out PLASTIC membership cards (of no value) with every fundraising letter? It seems so antithetical to the organization.

I am very disappointed in Audubon right now, since I have just received a "Final Notice" begging me to renew my membership to Audubon today, Memorial Day 2022. I appreciate the fine work Audubon is doing, but SINCE I RENEWED MY MEMBERSHIP in FEBRUARY 2022, I am aghast that they are still DUNNING ME to renew my membership. After an internal review (and much canvassing by employees and bird enthusiasts) Audubon has elected to keep their name, thus honoring a famous enslaver. I won't be donating another dollar until they do the right thing.

They have accepted wind industry donations. In August 2020, the National Audubon Society received a $200,000 grant from the New England Forest and Rivers Fund, a granting organization that takes money from the Avangrid Foundation, which is part of Avangrid Renewables. The National Audubon Society has supported offshore wind since at least 2010. Be aware, that the Audubon Society is not what it pretends to be. They tried unsuccessfully to cut an old-growth forest in Zoar Valley (WNY) but the good people of that area organized and protested. DO NOT contribute to this organization until they change their wicked ways!
