GallopNYC: Sunrise Stables

A lovely place to go horse back riding and an organization with a wonderful mission.

Beautiful stable with the Monday beautiful horses. My daughter loves this place. The workers and volunteers are awesome!

I enjoyed my rides here, but 5 of my weekly classes were cancelled due to weather during the Winter Session this past year, and I have yet to receive my money back after two months of waiting and communicating with staff. I would not recommend this barn to other recreational riders, especially if you're already on a budget.

This place is so welcoming, clean, and so fun. The person who guided our barn visit made it so fun for Tianny and myself too. She has an obsession with horses and I wanted her to be able to interact with them as I grew up around horses in my home country. I really regret signing up with Gallup NYC. They will try to scam you out of your money. My daughter was scared of the horses and she has special needs after a few classes which I paid for. I tried to cancel the rest of the semester and they're continuously trying to charge me on my card. When you enroll it doesn't clearly state that you will owe them money if you withdraw and they're being very unreasonable. So just watch out and be careful because they will try to take all your money even if y
