Haven't been to this park I a while. We walked almost the entire trails. Lots of birds. Easy trails. Highly recommend this park. However, disappointed that there aren't more porta potties. There is only one in the parking lot. Information on the internet said restrooms were open every hour on the hour for 15 minutes. That's weird plus we didn't see anything open every hour. Also, there's a monument dedicated to the military near the North Arlington Scenic Lookout that is in shameful disrepair.

What a fantastic spot for a walk, exercise, and enjoying nature! There are several kid-friendly trails, including a looped boardwalk, and you'll see plenty of birds along the way. The views, especially at sunset, are absolutely stunning! Can catch a glimpse of NYC skyline. It's never crowded, making it a truly peaceful escape. I recommend bringing a friend, as you can't see around the corner on some paths. The buildings are closed as of now.

I'm amazed this park used to be a landfill for NJ State. I'm hoping it wasn't a superfund site. Regardless, the state converted this place into a park with fantastic views. Great trail to take a hike or a stroll with your dog(s), or bird watching to reset your mind and relax.
