Henry B. Plant Museum

This is truly a great place to visit. There was a n Edgar Allen Poe impersonation and a scavenger hunt This was once a hotel and now is part of the university Henry B Plant was a remarkable person. If you are in or near Tampa Florida you need to visit.

The woodwork alone is beautiful. We visited tampa college and went into the museum end of it. The building,porch,stairs are all beautiful. Detail was a wow. We like to visit old architecture buildings and compare the difference between today's building and yesteryear. Huge difference!

Victorian Christmas at the museum was beautiful. The history lesson is interesting. This building is an amazing gift to the city of Tampa and a lesson in the fleeting value of personal wealth and possessions.

I visited the Henry B Plant Museum this last weekend on a girls trip. So glad we made this a stop. The history and beautiful architecture was stunning. The staff were so helpful and informative. It only cost $12 per person. Super cute gift shop as well. Just be informed it's not a museum about plants lol.
