Importico's Bakery Cafe Fort Pierce

I always liked the scones at the Ft. Pierce Farmer's Market. I've been going there for 29+ years. As usual on a beautiful day bought pastries at the outside market. Price seemed more expensive than I remember 6 months ago. I called the bakery only to find out that prices at the bakery located right around the corner from the Market are less. Why the price difference? That doesn't seem fair.

Stopped in for lunch earlier this week while on jury duty. I ordered a half sandwich, a cup of soup, iced tea, and a cookie. Everything was fresh-especially the bread-and the food was solid overall. That said, the total came to $22, which felt steep for a fairly simple lunch. This bakery is everything we hoped it would be. Everything is local made, fresh, and delicious. We had the quich (sundried tomato and feta), the sausage egg and cheese on a fresh croissant, and the Tuscan toasted turkey BLT. Incredible tastes, and the price was like old school low. Yummy, trust me.
