The original Wharf opened on the Miami River. It was such a success that a sister location opened on Las Olas on the New River in 2019. There is limited metered street parking around The Wharf and two city garages a couple of blocks away. They also offer valet. I always wanted to try the Wharf and now I can say I have. The Wharf - Great Location, But Missing Character The Wharf in Fort Lauderdale is in a prime location-right on the river with beautiful views of the Intracoastal. On paper, it has all the elements to be something magical. But in reality, it feels like your typical American bar, and unfortunately, it lacks character. Very cool place to hang out with friends. They have multiple bars and food options. Tons of seating is available and it has a fun, laid-back vibe. Great DJs too!
