Descanso Garden Spa

This place is so awesome! They have everything you'd want out of a spa day/ afternoon, really anytime because they are open from 9:30am-10pm. How cool is that? And what's even better is the amenities this place has! BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! I used to love this place and came here biweekly. It's clean, affordable, and typically quiet. Tonight, however, I experienced two incidents that left a poor taste in my mouth: 1. There were two unruly small children causing a lot of noise and running around both the wet area and upstair jimjilbang. Obviously a safety hazard and also disruptive to a quiet spa experience. 2. Very disappointed. I booked a couples spa service in advance for a special occasion. Two hours before the appointment, I was told one service had to be canceled due to lack of staff. I asked to speak with a manager but was told the manager could not help and was already gone for the day at 10 a.m. Poor planning and unprofessional handling. I would not recommend this place for special occasions or advance bookings.

I visit Descanso Spa once a month. I beleive this is very beneficial for my mind and body. I used to go to Wi Spa, but it was always overcrowded and busy. I am so glad I discovered Descanso spa! It's very cozy, doesn't get crazy busy, always clean, and oh, I LOVE the food there!!! Thank you!
