The Treehouse

Stopped by after work for an early dinner. Ordered two vegan dishes - the teriyaki mushroom veggie bowl and the chana masala. I think it would be better to toss the veggies in the sauce and serve them over the rice. The chana masala was ok, spicier than what I prefer. I liked the decorations inside the restaurant, there were plenty of tables outside as well.

Tacos were good. Typical college campus quality of food. I like the aesthetic of The Treehouse.

Came here to try the vegan options. So far only had the tofu teriyaki bowl and it was very underwhelming. Veggies had no flavor, like they were just frozen and steamed. Otherwise the sauce tasted pretty good and the rice was cooked well.

Went for the vegan burrito but everything especially the pizzas looked so good.

The food quite frankly was an afterthought, no more. We had two vegan dishes and drinks: 1 Shitake Mushroom & Tofu Bowl $12.25 1 vegan el jallapeno- NO CHEESE! $12.25 Cutt In Half (which they didn't cut in half as requested) 2 agua fresca 16oz $9.00 Both dishes took their precious time, but also failed to evoke any pleasure or satisfaction. Seriously an afterthought. It's as if they settle for their very nice location and that's it. Parking was super expensive as well on top of that.
