I liked the studio, teachers were amazing but one older woman yelled at my friend and I because we didn't know that we took her clay. She was very rude and she definitely doesn't know how to properly talk to people. We did apologize. She was wearing headphones and didn't even bother taking them off to talk to us like a normal human being. She could have just calmly explained that that's her clay and not students' one instead of yelling. Anyways, beware that there is this bad-mannered woman who ca

Very disappointed with this business. I emailed on a Thursday morning to inquire about an item on their website to see if I could purchase in store. I didn't hear back so I left an Instagram comment and finally got a response. I was told they didn't have the items in stock at their cypress location but they did in VAN NUYS. My partner and I had a subscription for a few months and really enjoyed our time up until the end. When we came back after a vacation we went to pick up our last pieces since we ended our subscription (time restraint reasons) we found one of our pieces was missing. I'm sure it was taken by accident but still disappointing and sad about it. I guess don't leave pieces for more then a few days after they get fired!

I signed up for a month of classes on the website, and chose The Pottery Studio as they seemed to have beautiful facilities. I normally don't like leaving reviews on things that are customer service based as I think it can detract from the qualities of an otherwise great establishment, however this studio's customer service is particularly awful and should be considered when making an assessment on classes. I attended the first class. The teacher was rushed and it was harder to follow initially

Took my first wheel throwing classes here almost a year ago and have not looked back! I was a complete novice and had no idea how steep the learning curve could be but the instructor made it fun and was super helpful. Class cancellation and makeup policies are very clearly stated on the website so don't sign up unless you are committed to attending classes. We got lucky and our beginner class only had 4 students but some beginner classes have up to 12. Intermediate classes are usually smaller.
