Maitreya Retreat Spa

Maitreya has become a highlight and a staple of living in Santa Cruz. I highly recommend visiting, and if you can swing it, a membership is well worth it! The outdoor gardens are serene and relaxing, and the community found within is vibrant and wholesome. The waters feel excellent on sore muscles and tired bodies! And if you're lucky, you'll be visited by the resident feline. Come for the plunge, stay for the connection!

very clean, peaceful, and relaxing. Girl with pig tails at the front desk is very helpful and nice. Also you would think it might be awkward to be naked in front of people but it chill.

Place is calm and peace with nature. Cleanliness must improve. I really don't like hot tub area. Service is good. They are providing herbal tea along with water.

I stopped by to see if they were open on Thanksgiving and saw the Maitreya maintenance guy peeing on the front porch. As a woman with no one else around, it really freaked me out.

Great spot to relax and take a hot bath. I found this spot when we were camping nearby and found out the bathrooms were out of the order at camp ground. Great customer service. Hidden germ for great gateway to relax and recharge. However, I took one start off because the shower room in the private bath house only has extremely hot water or cold water. It didn't supply the right water temperature to shower. The stainless railing to the bathtub it's loosen very badly. It needs maintenance and repa
