Booked with Liz the day before we came in, she was super communicative and helpful beforehand and an awesome teacher during the lesson. We both made a few pieces which Liz helped with, giving us many tips and hands-on corrections. She did not rush us at all, was super knowledgeable, friendly, and an extremely talented instructor. Overall, it was a great experience - we had a ton of fun and would totally do it again. Thanks Liz!

Incredible class with Liz! It was my first time throwing and my group absolutely loved how she balanced the lesson portion with letting us try out our ideas. She had a wonderful presence and the whole experience made me want to get more into pottery. For us it was a special occasion and a highlight of our weekend - 12/10 recommend!

Liz was a great teacher for first timers! Very encouraging and thorough without overwhelming us with information. She was a warm and fun person to interact with. Her studio was so cute and displayed her amazing work that is also for sale. Our pieces turned out great! Can't wait to get them back and put them to good use

Had an awesome time at Lizpotz Pottery! Went with some friends to their beginner's class and it was really chill. Liz knows her stuff, and she makes pottery easy and fun to learn. The studio's got a cool vibe, and everything from the clay to the tools were top quality. Plus, we all made something to take home. A great spot to hang out, learn something new, and make cool stuff. Can't recommend Lizpotz enough!

Booked a pottery class with Liz Potz for my adult daughter and I while visiting Santa Cruz. It was a GREAT experience! Something fun to do that was creative. The studio is adorable and Liz's pottery is exceptional. Small selection for sale. Liz was patient and is obviously very talented at her craft. Great positive vibe. We each made 3 items that will be glazed and taken home. Recommend wearing something that can get dirty, but also keep in mind the clay dries and turns to dust so cleaning up wa
