Salsa Gente -Cuban style Dancing

I recently completed Chris and Jessica's Salsa Gente crash course in Cuban-style salsa through the city of Santa Cruz, and it was amazing! Their teaching style is clear, fun, and engaging, making it easy to learn and enjoy. The welcoming atmosphere made it even better-I met great people and gained so much confidence on the dance floor. Highly recommend Salsa Gente if you want to learn salsa and have a blast. Thank you both for a wonderful experience!

Chris and Jessica are excellent teachers. They have the right combination of creating comfort and safety in the group and giving the gentle pushes you need to improve. Their instructions are clear and they answer questions with ease. My husband is a reluctant dancer and he left class smiling. I gave taken salsa from other teachers but these two ate the best.

Salsa Gente is a fun and fabulous dance-teacher duo. Chris and Jessica make salsa dancing not only fun, but attainable and interesting. The crash course for beginners is the perfect to learn a lot in a very short time. They break down the steps in a way that really works, kindly answer questions, give great demonstrations, and you can see the joy and passions when they dance! In this class, everyone dances the entire time with rotating partners, so all the awkwardness of dancing and/or being a s
