Three telescopes were set up to see 3 different planets. Kind of amazing.

DIRECTIONS: rather than go by the street address, instead Google search Palomar College Planetarium then follow the directions and where Google has the precise location pinned. Instead of 1140 W Mission Rd, the planetarium is on COMET CIRCLE, which is a road off of W Mission Rd. Stellar show!!

9/16/22 they just had a grand reopening and their first show since the pandemic was amazing. They have a lot of new equipment, and as always the shows were amazing. I always love the free telescopes outside as an added bonus for the night!

Hadn't been to a planetarium since I was a kid. Didn't know what to expect but I was blown away by how entertaining and informative the experience was. The 1 hour presentation was live and incredibly interesting. You can tell there's genuine passion and knowledge in the people working at the planetarium. Arrived there 15 minutes before and it was already almost full so if you want to get good seats get there at least 20 minutes before the show starts.
