Provident Credit Union Event Center

I was here to see the bands The Beta Machine and A Perfect Circle. The venue was very low key and relaxed.. everyone just wanted to have a good time! Security was really tight but there weren't too many problems. Most everyone respected the rules and didn't film or take pictures during the performance 🙂 It was easy to pick up my ticket from will call and get inside. This event center is located smack dab in the middle of San Jose State University. The closest parking garage is also for university staff & students so it may have a lot of cars when you arrive. Take picture a signage where you park. We went in February pre pandemic & staff didn't set up entrance screening until 1 hour before event. It was a mad dash to get inside before show started even though thousands of people were lined up early. They were also only letting us enter through stairs. No low

A review for the Event Center after last week's NIT game vs Loyola Chicago I have been an SJSU student for five years and the only other times I went to the Event Center are for move in day and during elections. It was my first time attending an SJSU basketball game. More proud that to be part of the first ever postseason game the Spartans have hosted.
