A bit of nature away from the buzzling city. It's a short hike... As you can tell from the name, it used to be a military installation, but now part of the Golden Gate Park.

Simple venue for a wedding! Shot the ceremony outside next to the water, reception and other happenings indoors.

What more can you say about this place. Lots scenic trails in the area. Connected to Fort Manson; military installation. Has a good amount of foot traffic due to trails near by. A decent view of the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz and Aquatic zone. Idk the history of this sight I'm just posting because I happened to be near this area at the time. Lovely view and you get that nice bay breeze.

Cool place but nothing going on when I was there, looks like they might use it occasionally for events and the backside has some good shady views of the Bay. Cool wood seats cut from large local trees.

Whenever I stay in San Francisco I do visit this area. Really an awesome place to visit. Just few steps walking distance from Hostel. A very good place for morning and evening jogging.
