Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture is a vibrant spot with galleries, performances, and great waterfront views. It offers plenty of parking and tasty food options like Greens Restaurant, Radhaus, and Equator Coffee. Can get lively during events, but it's a perfect mix of art, food, and scenery.

I started my walk at Van Ness Avenue and Bay Street (Buses 19, 30, 49 and 29) and walked along Van Ness Avenue towards the water. Eventually you will end at the trail that leads into Fort Mason and exit where Safeway is (about .5 walk semi flat trail). Along the walk, there are markers that provide historical information of what you see and where you are at. This walk gives you an entire view of Fort Mason and its surrounding areas. The walk was tranquil and peaceful - an easy walk. Views o

I recently attended the conference that was held at the Gateway Pavilion location in the National Historic Landmark on the San Francisco waterfront - the Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture that offers venues unlike any other, with spectacular views of Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge, complemented by a maritime atmosphere, water, and birds, which add serenity and peace.
