Matcha Cafe Maiko

My boyfriend got the Thai Tea Vanilla Twist, and I had the Strawberry Matcha drink. Both were really good and tasted high-quality. We'll definitely be coming back!

Don't be intimidated by the long line, they have fast service. We had the matcha latte, matcha float, and the matcha ice cream cone.. all so delicious. The ice cream is rich, creamy, bold, & the matcha dust on the ice cream was amazing. Perfect treat for a stroll through Chinatown. #4matchalovers

I honestly left this place feeling frustrated and disappointed. I have no control over how the staff behaves, but it was extremely uncomfortable to have the female employee constantly rolling her eyes at us. I genuinely don't understand what we did to deserve that attitude. Maybe she was just in a bad mood - but that's not my responsibility to understand or excuse. Matcha Cafe Maiko is a must-visit for real matcha lovers. The flavor is rich, earthy, and authentic - not sugary or artificial. Their matcha soft serve and parfaits are incredible, perfectly balanced and beautifully made. Even my toddler enjoyed it! Service is friendly and everything feels fresh and high quality. One of the best dessert spots in San Francisco.

I came twice this week because it's in a great location and was really yum! My only complaint is that I wish they had more options & seasonal flavors. The banana matcha tasted really artificial but all the other drinks I had were great! I had the banana drink in Orlando and it tasted completely different. I'd suggest the matcha float. It was soooo good
