I wasn't sure where to send this, so I'm submitting it here. I've been a regular shopper at your stores for over a decade-first at the Polk Street location, and now more frequently at the Folsom Street location since moving nearby. I know some of the staff by name and they know mine, including Marcy, and have appreciated the consistency and convenience-until recently. There are two employees at the Folsom location whose behavior has created an increasingly uncomfortable shopping experience: Lor

Out of The Closet has great prices and an awesome mission. I frequent the Folsom location (not sure if there are multiple locations), and it's a bit dingy inside. There are no dressing rooms and no returns so that's kind of a bummer. Overall, I'd still recommend checking it out because of the nice pieces i've come upon and the low prices.

My old review disappeared from Google and Yelp. You have to check in your bag when you enter. The worker gave my bag to someone else even though they didn't have the ticket. If they had looked inside my bag which had my wallet, they would have seen it didn't belong to a guy. It had my bike lock keys, wallet, cash from bartending shift, laptop, jacket, and more. The location is at an okay spot and they had some neat finds. What I don't appreciate is the security guard following me around the store. Security guard saw me come in and while I was looking around he kept his " distance". Every time I looked up, I would catch him staring at my next move. He was walki

Kitchenware is extremely expensive despite missing parts, store employees sometimes will not even respond to you and just roll their eyes if you ask a question. Some items are left in a closed cardboard box with a price tag so that you have no idea what is inside them and trying to get employees to actually have a conversation with you so that you can open these things is a pain. There are some interesting things there, but imo it's not worth it when you can just get a bus to another store.
