Hannibal's Catering & Events

We went to a memorial service yesterday and at the reception Hannibal's did the catering! I was so impressed with the food and the presentation. It was amazing!! Best sandwich, salad and cookie I've had in a long time! Didn't have room for other dessert but the cupcakes looked amazing too! Brought half of my sandwich home as they supplied to-go boxes and had it for dinner! Can't say enough about Hannibal's!! If I have a gathering, I'll definitely call them! Everything was so fresh!!!

I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to try out Hannibal's while I was activated for my job here in Rancho Cordova. While I was here, I had the pleasure of meeting Taylor, and I also had the opportunity to try out their chicken curry, which was absolutely amazing. I love Indian food, and I am a very very strict critic of what is and isn't good when it comes Indian food, and I can say this is above reproach. Their food was good and the server was attentive. I ordered the cold sandwiches option for 110 people at a funeral repast and everyone enjoyed the food. Some of my guests even took the leftovers home. They were easy to work with and prompt with sending the needed food license and insurance to the post-burial venue. The only unwelcomed surprise was the 18% "administration and handling" fee, which considerably raised the cost of the meal. I would have preferred knowing about this "handling" fee at

Worst catering ever. We had them cater a 92 person dinner for Yolo Sportsman's association. It was supposed to be Tri Tip and chicken. The chicken was as hard as beef jerk and dry as cardboard. The Tri tip was not tri tip we think it was a cheap cut of meat like London broil and it had a freezer taste. They sent a server that certainly was not happy to be there. We were so pleased with our experience! I rarely have expectations exceeded and Hannibal's accomplished it. The people on the phone were always friendly and professional and asked all the questions that needed to be asked to ensure a flawless event. The delivery showed up early and they went above and beyond in helping setup the event. Always a concern is the quality and quantity of food.
