This hotel is a scam! I booked the hotel via Concur, and cancelled it in the free cancellation period (before 6pm that day). However, the hotel still charged me for the room. Called the hotel and they claimed they did not see the cancellation in the system. After rounds of conversations with Concur / CWT, the hotel finally acknowledged the cancellation and claimed to "have refunded" the charge, which would post within 3-5 business days. However, more than 2 weeks later there is still no refund

Do not recommend staying here. I made the mistake of staying a second time, and the experience has only gotten worse. I booked and paid for a full week and even notified the hotel in advance that I would be checking in late. When I arrived, they told me they had given away my room and were fully booked - essentially leaving me without a place to stay. Overall service and attitude was subpar. Fortunately, they eventually found a solution, but I'm fairly certain it was only because of my status

Had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. Jenny at the front desk was absolutely amazing and super helpful. The room was huge and beautifully decorated. The entire place made us feel welcome and spoiled from the special toiletries in our room, the lush comfortable bed, to the free ice cold bottled water or iced cucumber water in the lobby. This was definitely the best hotel I have stayed in in a long time.

The Westin always satisfies. Our family member had serious surgeries at Stanford Hospital and we have been exhausted and needing a safe place to rest. The bath tubs are my favorite for a deep, hot soak. Quiet, clean and convenient, the Westin Palo Alto is only 8 minutes from the hospital. The staff is exceptionally professional and supportive. I highly recommend for a stress free stay.

We stayed here one night for a Stanford football game. Perfect distance to walk over. Beautiful room with a comfy bed and great service from the staff. I will say that the price of the breakfast buffet is a bit high for what you get.
