I've had Salt & Straw twice in San Francisco and thought I'd satisfied the craving, I'm glad I didn't skip it here. The Honey Lavender ice cream was something else. It's not your usual flavor-it's herby, calming, and refreshing in a way that reminded me of a spa experience. Hard to describe really, but unforgettable. It's the kind of flavor you'll unexpectedly miss once you're back home. A must-try if you're looking for something a bit different and honestly, a bit magical.

Another fabulous experience at Salt & Straw today. They're always moving and grooving with both classic and creative new ways of tantalizing my tastebuds. Today's adventure was an Apple cinnamon roll. Super bonus was not having the typical 15-20 minute line by stopping by at lunch time π€.

It's decent they have a very interesting menu. Line was out the door and took ~15 min. The ice cream itself was pretty good I just didn't particularly like the one I got (cookie dough - there was too much chocolate sauce and not enough cookie dough).

Great unique olive oil flavour. Mismatch of scoop to empty cone size though. For me, this detracted from eating the last 1/3. The value of this place is on par with other ice creameries. Selection of flavours is decent! I tried a few and honestly, this was the only one that stood out to me.

a name with Salt and Straw I wasn't quite sure what to expect. It came highly recommended though and as ice cream connoisseurs we couldn't refuse. And I am an VERY glad we didn't. The unique name fits it perfectly. Their ice cream flavors have you question if what you are really ordering is ice cream or a dish. The creativity of flavors comes across as weird to begin but as you taste them they are radical. Even though there was a line we were able to try a variety of flavors. The limited edition
