A redwood grove within Rinconada Park. The trees looks old; they must have built the park around them.

A small grove of redwoods on a quiet suburban street. Excellent spot for a picnic or just to enjoy the shade. Magic Forest is a section in the larger park, next to a community center, school, pool, tennis courts. There are some excellent climbable oaks on the other side of the pool complex. I felt relaxed and loved it.

Parking was easy. The trees were remarkable. Envy the residents there. Very nice neighborhood. Can't wait to come back when the renovation of the Rinconada Park is done.

This is a small section of trees located in Rinconada park. They are very tall and provide a lovely shaded area. Its not separated in any way from the park nor is their any signage signaling that it is called the magic forest, so Im not sure what the story behind the trees are. As other reviewers have noted, the super tall trees look quite old and probably predated the park. They're a lovely sight, definitely worth checking out in the park.

After work - come with a book, and a heart open for a magical in-city tranquility experience under a dome created by the tall redwoods, sit on the long wooden bench and start recharging - even with cars running by, kids laughing in the swimming pools next to it - it only amplifies the tranquility and the calm within, when you are in this magical forest. Wholeheartedly grateful for the builders of it, and all that have been quietly holding this space. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
