When it comes to American coffee shops, I have one simple rule: anyone who can pour a decent tulip on my latte automatically earns 4 stars. It's sooo hard to find places in the U.S. that get latte art right-we barely even try! Now, back to the point: Oklava Cafe is truly unique-one of a kind in Palo Alto. Great coffee, really good pastries, and a clear sense of identity. It's a breath of fresh air among all the chain stores in the area. I'll definitely be coming back for more.

I've come here literally >10 times. One of my favorite spots in Palo Alto. I've tried probably 90% of the desserts behind the glass counter.
