While pricey, everything is divine. We've tried the pesto and mozzarella focaccia, mixed berry jar cake, chocolate hazelnut gluten free cookies, and vegetable samosa. Flavor and freshness are top-notch!

I love GK bakery because they offer high quality bake goods made of mindful ingredients. They have the best sourdough bread in my opinion. Not rock hard shell, squishy and enough chewiness inside, and flavorful. Sourdough comes with several flavors but I like the tomato-cheese and jalapeño-cheese the most. Every time I visit GK Pastry in Mountain View, I usually get the jalapeño cheddar bread (so satisfyingly good, toasted or not), but this time I tried the tomato cheddar bread-crunchy exterior, soft and chewy interior. Awesome toasted. My other go-to is the chocolate jar cake. The chocolate they use is delicious, not too sweet. This time I had the mixberry jar cake. A nice, change-up. Never disappointed. Definitely try and support this local bakery! They opened a new location in Los Altos, too.

bit hyped? Maybe. Maybe not... I found GK Pastry to be a bit on the Pricey side, but very good. GK Pastry is definitely a bakery, at first glance I thought it was a cafe, but no. There is no place inside to sit and enjoy the baked goods, grab your order to go. However, there is plenty of room for one to wait while your order is being prepped.
