I love camping at Mt Lakes. Staff extremely friendly & helpful. However their cleanliness in the restrooms is nasty. The floors are filthy, as well as toilets. Steam machines would remedy this easily.

The place is nice. They have things to do for the kids as well swimming, paddle boating, splash pad and other activities depending on when you go. Necessities is a bit overpriced in my opinion. They do have a restaurant and a creek across the way for members to go in.

Had a great time. Google refers to it as a hotel but definitely cabins. There is one main room with a queen/king size bed, 2 bunk beds and a pull out sofa that sleeps 2 adults. Beautiful campground. We come many times throughout the year. Many activates however they are not very diverse. Halloween time is fabulous. They absoutly need to level out all thier sites. That would be my biggest issue with this place. Also they need to stop allowing small campers into the large sites. There are alot less long sites and when you have a reservation but there is no site long enough avaliable that is compleatly unacceptable. I have traveled the United States my whole life

I love Mountain Lakes! Unfortunately, across from the entrance, there is a wilderness area where normally you could go for a stroll, sit for a picnic snack and even walk in the stream if you'd like and not only was it closed and extremely dangerous due to the recent storm, the fence had come down as the straight stream turned to a winding river and pulled the foundation down. Luckily, it did not destroy the road there. I am sure it will be back up in no time (the fence) but hard to say when and
