really shocked!! something you would not expect.. just a small place next to a boutique hotel... but.... the service was great (although they were super busy)... the drinks were good.. and the food was exceptional.. really.. i was actually shocked by the quality of the food. burger was next level and tacos were fantastic, so were the rolls.. really good.. the sauces that came with it were exceptional .. place was rocking and it was as much a lounge with lots of young ppl hanging out for drin

I ordered some things off their All Day menu and an item on their Baja Lunch menu. The drinks were fantastic, though I omitted any honey and ginger beer. The chipotle dressing on the Caesar Salad is very nice (croutons not good). The Brussel Sprouts were very tasty and well cooked, but I didn't eat most of the fried onions (the fried onions are, on their own, very salty). I love Mexican food and I look for good hole in the walls as well as fine dining places. I have been here 6 or more times. My family used to love the food here. Everything we tried was just amazing. My kids looked forward to coming here. The last 2 time we ate the we had a completely different experience. I feel like the food quality has changed for worse. We joined for the Lunch DineLA experience. The food was excellent: we got the octopus carpaccio, arroz con mariscos (which I would call a paella), and a scoop of gelato or sorbet with a mini bite-size cookie. My compliments to the Spanish chef (you could really feel his Spanish influence in his food as well as Italian influence from his years spent living in Italy).
