Get. The. Hotteok. Don't think about it, just order it!! Came for the bingsoo, stayed for the hotteok. Both were good- I wish they told you all the red bean and condensed milk is hidden in the bottom of the bowl. For the longest time, I always thought that Oakobing was the go-to place when it comes to finding good Bingsu (Korean shaved ice dessert) in KTown, but there certainly was a paradigm shift after trying this place out! Ooyoo is a solid contender for the spot of best bingsu purveyor in KTown, the place is a bit difficult to find but well worth it once you manage to get to it. The seating itself is such a nice touch. Really charming patio seating, the best taiyakis, and hodduk. The taiyakis are 5/$10 which is a great price for a cafe. The custard and red bean are our favs. They're are lightly crispy outside and chewy inside like they're made of mochi. Great place to hang out! And parking is free.

Great kind of hidden spot on the second floor of the building. The outdoor patio was really spacious and comfortable (open seating). The taiyaki were served hot and fresh. Very cute, was not too crowded on a Friday evening!

Ktown may be full of bingsu places, but this cafe really meets all expectations. There's free parking, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating (bonus patio shared with another cafe!), the shaved ice is perfectly fluffy and icy, and the menu has a host of other sweet options like taiyaki and hotteok.
