Love love them! We have been coming here for over 15 years We usually get their traditional cakes specially the mango one that is amazing. But we recently started asking for simple custom designs and they have exceeded our expectations. Helps to take them a picture printed of what you want. They are not known for cake designs but more for their yummy taste so we don't expect fondant cake expectations but so far 10/10.

I have ordered 3 cakes here and I will continue to come here forever. The cakes are not too sweet and the fruit is always fresh. The frosting is always perfectly whipped and delicious. Their prices are decent I totally recommend everyone trying this place if they need a cake.

I have been coming to this bakery since I was 15 years old. I know Maria is long gone cause this place had ZERO updates. The floor is old and dirty and pealing, the back counter cabinets are worn and even the table up front is older than I am on in 40s now. It's sad to see no evolution, no reinvestment, no love or care. The cakes are A+ I recommend all of them but wow the atmosphere and visuals inside are that of an abandoned building. This was my go to spot for cakes as it is close to home. Just recently I placed an order for a milhojas cake. It was for a very special occasion. When I cut the cake I was disappointed as it was mostly layers of sponge cake or bread and only a thin layer of milhojas. The cake I received was nothing like the milhojas cake they have on display. I will not be coming here any more.

This bakery has been around for decades making great cakes, desserts, and other goodies. It's amazing that through all the trials and tribulations LA has gone through such as legislation that continues to make it impossible for small businesses, the pandemic, and even the ICE attacks on our immigrant friends that significantly increase the costs of fruit and other ingredients which indirectly hurt businesses like these, they manage to somehow chug along doing hard and honest work.
