I recently went to NIKU X Los Angeles, which is on the 2nd floor of the Intercontinental Hotel. The place has a beautiful ambience-clean, classy, and perfect for a nice night out. They offer valet parking and validate for 2.5 hours, but since we had three cars, we still ended up paying almost $100 extra after the free hours. I had my birthday here on November 14th 2025. We endured a crazy storm to get to downtown LA from Covina. As fun as the ride over was the enjoyment I had at Niku X. The website for this restaurant is misleading. The only actually validated parking is valet. We called the restaurant for clarification and they auto transfered us to a robo voice with the same false information as the website. When we got in we met the host and clarified our reservation. They tried to seat us at a shared table and we ended up asking for a booth. We ended up waiting another 20 minutes. Dinner here two days after Christmas. Need a reservation because this place is small. Still had to wait 30 minutes, had drinks at the bar. Bartenders short you on the liquor, saw him do this on every drink he made. Got a table with grill. JJ and Darren were excellent, explained everything. He ordered the beef from the menu and lobster tails, got 4 tails which were really good. The wagyu beef from the buffet was better, very rich. We made a reservation two weeks in advance to celebrate my husband's birthday, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish.
