GK Pastry & Sourdough

Walked in, met the owner (or the owners son). Very friendly and gave me lot of advice on what is good, gluten free, etc. The staff was busy baking and gave smiles and friendly/motivated! Always good to see. It was a retail space they took over and have set up shop at. I bought half a loaf of their cheese/jalapeño sourdough ($5.5 half loaf) and the chocolate mousse ($12). Bit pricey, but maybe not for Los Altos prices! Both of these were AMAZING, so I guess totally worth the price? I'd say so. T

I have been to GK Pastry's locations in Palo Alto and Mountain View and am so happy that they opened up in downtown Los Altos. This location has seating available and a great selection of both savory and sweet items. Our favorites are the focaccia and any of the sourdough breads. They also have fresh salads to balance things out and we tried a soup today that was delicious. The food is outstanding, we love the baked goods! Definitely worth a visit!

I really liked this bakery, fresh pastries and bread made there! Other savory options too. And a very nice indoor area to sit on a cold day! I had visited the Palo Alto location many times but this one is great if you want to sit and enjoy coffee or brunch!

Great service, friendly staff, awesome selection of pastry and Napoleon cake variety. I recommend the Olive and Parmesan bread, and the chocolate croissant has a very crunchy outside and the chocolate was AMAZING! 11/10, recommend this to any person who loves bread and pastry! The lemonade is PERFECT, it is a little bit sour, but it has very little sugar!
