Teaching style is everything. I joined a level one class with some ceramics experience under my belt, but was blown away by how much I learned. Armand has a clear process for everything, and explains the why behind each step. He takes the time to ensure each student understands the technique before moving on. I've taken two sessions of classes and my son has attended a week long summer program at Filthy Habit. Armand is a great teacher- patient and kind and talented and did I say patient? He fosters a great environment for learning with small class sizes and his positive and creative teaching style. My fiance and I adore Armand and love Filthy Habit! He is an incredibly thoughtful and patient instructor and we always feel very relaxed after our classes with him. If you've been thinking about trying pottery, this is the perfect place for you. A great idea for couples' weekly date nights or just have some me time where you basically get to play with mud and make cute things. The studio space is clean and inviting and you can't go wrong with such a great teacher.

Great pottery classes here, Armand is a really easy going teacher and makes the whole thing really fun. All the other people I've been in a class with have been really nice too. Be sure to order your tools before the first class, we ALL missed that instruction when signing up lol, luckily he had some we could borrow until we got ours. Just a beginner tool set is needed for a level 1 class. Not sure about the other levels, if they nee

About 4 months ago I took the level 1 & 2 pottery wheel classes and had such a great experience that I decided to become a member. They also offer hand-building classes as well. Armand is such an amazing teacher and a true inspiration. Also, a very talented potter. The studio is super clean and really well equipped. The class sizes are kept to about 6 students so everyone receives individualized attention every step of the way. Armand has put together a program that promotes a strong found
