Encinitas Toastmasters

As a Toastmaster for 13 years and counting I've been a member of multiple clubs and even chartered some of my own. This club has a long and rich history, brings in amazing talent, helps new speakers grow, new leaders gain skills and maintains FUN and CAMARADERIE at all times. Amazing place to spend 90 minutes.

When I moved to San Diego County two years ago, I looked around for a club to join. There are several listed with Toastmasters International that are close to where I lived then. I went to this club first, and I've never looked back. They are the warmest, most energetic, friendliest group of supportive and caring toastmasters. Encinitas Toastmasters is one of the very best Toastmasters clubs in Southern CA. The club is highly professional -- adhering to Toastmasters International rules and traditions. In fact, the club has won the coveted President's Distinguished Award for the last seven years running. I've visited a number of Toastmasters clubs in north San Diego County, and Encinitas Toastmasters is the best! The club meets weekly on Thursday evenings, and has a blend of new and experienced speakers united around a common theme - becoming better, more confident speakers. The club has bragging rights for the best club in north county, and has reached President's Distinguished status for 10+ years.

I walked into this club a year a a half ago knowing nothing about Toastmasters. My objective was to improve my musical stage performance. I've met some real nice people, learned a lot, gotten a better on stage, and along the way become a professional storyteller. The group is very welcoming and supportive.
