This is an incredible studio for potters and a hidden gem in the city. It's spacious, clean, well lit and has a wonderful community. It has a large area for hand building and lots of wheels, including a standing wheel. They have ample sharp/nice tools available for whatever project you're working on so you don't have to bring your own. I've been making ceramics for over a decade and have fired at various studios from Orange County to Pasadena to Santa Monica but truly love being a member of MoLA

Recently transitioned from Good Dirt LA after taking a boot camp class, to now a studio member at Members Only for the past 3 months. It has been the best experience to not only learn a new hobby but also move to a brand new studio to put my creative freedom at work. The staff and other members are loving and truly act as a community - helping each other grow in their skill set and simply fostering new friendships. Would highly recommend joining this community based ceramics studio. Lots of spac

I use the firing services at Members Only LA and I am very satisfied. When the pandemic hit and my local studio closed, I started making pottery at home. MOLA was one of the few places in the area offering firing services, and the only I could find that allowed full kiln rental. Plus, they are ususally able to accomodate special requests (e.g. firing extr

MoLA is more than just a pottery studio. Its a community of awesome people who are just as creative and talented as they are kind, considerate, helpful, humble and fun. The owners have created an atmosphere and a culture that has made the studio feel like a family where everyone is valued beyond being a customer. All the necessary (and unnecessary) tools and instruments are at everyone's disposal, and there never seems to be a time where you can't access a wheel or a tool when you want it. I can

I transitioned over from Good Dirt a couple of months ago. This studio is full of SO many talented people. That was very intimidating, but I was quickly put at ease. All of the artists/hobbyists are so creative, informative, and collaborative. IT IS ADDICTING here! Sitting at the wheel is so relaxing, and I have loved bringing home all kinds of pieces. They have every supply, glaze and tool. Show up, relax, and enjoy your creative side!
